Writing competition for students

The publication of the Finnish Online University of Applied Sciences aims to give a comprehensive overview of the Finnish Online University of Applied Sciences and its influence in the Finnish field of higher education. The publication covers the development of the activities of the Finnish Online University of Applied Sciences, from the early years until today. The publication will be released both in print and in an electronic format.

We also want the students to be heard in the publication. This is why we ask for students to write articles about their experiences in the Finnish Online University of Applied Sciences.

The length of the article should be 3 - 10 A4-pages. The text can be made more lively and illustrative by using photos, pictures or tables.

The editors of the publication choose the best three articles, which will become a part of the national publication of the Finnish Online University of Applied Sciences. The writer of the best article receives an iPod Nano player and the writers of the two other published articles receive an mp3-player each. The winners will be notified directly, so don't forget to give your contact information when submitting the article. The Finnish Online University of Applied Sciences reserves the right to publish less or more than three articles as well as the right to edit the texts to be published.
