FASTLASKIAIS CARNEVAL 20.2.2007

Vaasa universities are arranging the traditional FASTLaskiais Carneval. It's the day when there is something to do all day long. The happening begins at the icestadium with a rinkbandy tournament at 8.00 and after 14.00 there is downhill sledge competition in Kalaranta.

Rinkbandy finals begins approximately at 13.15 ja transportation is arranged with trucks by followed:
12.00 from university parking area, Syh, Teku at Wolffintie
12.15 Kav
12.30 Hanken
12.45 LiMa at Raastuvankatu

The trip from icestadium to Kalaranta goes along the beach trough checkpoints.

If you want to take part in rinkbandy tournament please collect a team and inform 16th of February at latest to liiku@vamok.fi. Participation costs 30€/team and is payment happens at icestadium. Inform your team name and contact person.

The downhill sledge competition in Kalaranta: Intention is to compete with most peculiar sledges and those who want to take part to the competition can inform 16th of February at latest also to liiku@vamok.fi.

SEEKING BLOOD DONORS

Vaasa Blood Service is searching for new, young blood donors. The Donors must be healthy and weight at least 50 kg. The donor must have been resident in the Nordic countries for the past six months. More information about donating blood can be found at the website http://www.veripalvelu.fi. Blood can be donated in Vaasa Blood Service, Alatori 1A.

CHANGED OPENINGHOURS AT THE OFFICE AND DUTY

During weeks 8 and 9 there will not be dutys at the Wolffintie unit. VAMOK's office is closed during week 9.
