Student´s meal subsidy

In association with the 2007 budget, Parliament has approved an increase in the meal subsidy of higher education institutions and polytechnics. Starting from 1 January 2007, the meal subsidy is EUR 1.67.

The Government decree on the new maximum prices of lunches and the maximum and minimum prices of special meals will be issued later so the current maximum and minimum prices are in force until further notice.

Starting from 1 January 2007 and until the entry into force of the decree on the new maximum and minimum prices, the prices of student meals are as follows:

- Traditional EUR 3.82 (EUR 2.15 + EUR 1.67 subsidy)
- Spicy EUR 3.82 (EUR 2.15 + EUR 1.67 subsidy)
- Vegetarian EUR 3.82 (EUR 2.15 + EUR 1.67 subsidy)
- Special meals EUR 4.80-5.85 (EUR 3.13 - 4.18 +
    EUR 1.67 subsidy)

You receive your meal subsidy by presenting a valid student card.
