My Trần is an 18-year-old young woman from Hồ Chí Minh, Vietnam. She decided to move to Finland for the experience of another culture and good education.
The things that surprised her was sauna, and that Finns are open about everything. According to My, the best things about Finland are the people and chocolate.
So far, My has liked studying in Finland and at VAMK.
- I like VAMK because studying is a lot easier compared to what I was used to in my home country. Also the subjects are really interesting.
In the future she wants to have an exchange year in Korea or Japan, and then continue to study master’s degree after a few years of working after graduation.
My also expresses her affection towards the campus academic library, Tritonia.
- I like the books and the atmosphere. During the exam season Tritonia is the only place I want to study at, tells My.
