The VAMOK sports turn's ends for the spring after week 17. The turns starts in next autumn again.

May Day rowing event 30th April 2007.

May Day is coming again and it´s time to take part in the traditional rowing competition or just come and cheer on the competitioners. The rowing event is on the 30th April at 13-15 near the beach in front of Hovioikeus. Gather up a four person team and enroll to the competition untill the 27th April to VAMOK´s office. The fee for the competition is 10€/team. Payment shall be made at same time as the enrolment.

At 18:00 the Topelius statue (Kirkkopuistikko) will get it's hat at the traditional capping ceremony.

The duty

The last duty at the Wollfintie unit is the 25th of April. VAMOK's office at Raastuvankatu will still be open as normal.

Who is going to be the teacher of the year?

In the Vaasa universtity of applied sciences will be selected a teacher of the year for the first time. By answering you take part to a lottery, in which you can win a Apple iPod. Give at least one reason why the person you choose is the teacher of the year. At the same time you will positive feedback to teacher. It is always nice to have positive feedback!
