International Days 2010 at Vamk

International Days -event will be organised at VAMK in March 14th-18th, 2010. Visitors from partner Universities will visit us during five days. The International Days are arranged jointly by the Faculty of Technology and Communication and the Department of Social Services with the help from the International Office.

The reason for arranging the event is to encourage students and staff members to internationalize themselves as well as to give an opportunity to share information and knowledge with each other. This also enables networking and starting joint projects.

Engineering and Social Services students will be provided lectures provided by international guests from the partner universities in Palosaari Campus on Tuesday March 16th and on Wednesday March 17th. Visitors from Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, Estonia, Russia, Cyprus, Austria, Hungary and Lithuania will give subject specific lectures as well as country and home university presentations.
