Riku Niemistö is known as wide-ranging developer of well-being services

Riku has been involved in the planning of provincial health and social services, for example in the organisation of child and family services.
As a senior lecturer in the social and health field, hehas seen how valuable multidisciplinarity is both from the point of view of professionals and the customer.

”Well-being issues are often complex. A multidisciplinary approach is needed especially for customers who use a lot of services. A common platform makes it easier to face people as a whole and to solve problems in a multidisciplinary way.”

In the welfare services of the future, the prevention of problems and accessibility will be taken into account even more. Digital services can also help with that.
