The aim is to promote well-being and health, strengthen network and service coordination expertise, enhance overall security, and support the shift towards preventive services and early intervention. In practical development work, service design and co-creation are utilized to foster innovations that support well-being, and to improve the flow of service systems and service chains by drawing on customer experiences and the opportunities offered by technology.

Riku has been involved in the planning of provincial health and social services, for example in the organisation of child and family services.
As a senior lecturer in the social and health field, hehas seen how valuable multidisciplinarity is both from the point of view of professionals and the customer.
