Project description

The project focuses on strengthening the design competence for sustainable energy solutions in single-family homes. The training covers heat pumps, demand response systems, smart chargers, solar panels, and batteries. The course includes modules on heating-based solutions and smart electricity usage. Participants will learn to use energy and consumption data to size the systems correctly and understand typical technical solutions for their implementation.

Goals

  • To enhance design competence in energy solutions for single-family homes, specifically in the areas of heat pumps, demand response systems, smart chargers, solar panels, and batteries.
  • To provide practical training on analyzing and utilizing energy and consumption data for system sizing.
  • To teach participants about typical commercial energy solutions and their impact on energy consumption.
  • To prepare participants to conduct comprehensive or concise data analyses and perform these analyses efficiently using Microsoft Excel or similar software.

Results

As a result of the project, participants will be able to correctly size energy systems using their own or provided energy data. They will gain the ability to perform data analyses and apply them in practical applications, improving their capability to design sustainable energy solutions for single-family homes. Participants who complete the course will also gain experience in utilizing commercial solutions and verifying their impact on energy consumption.
