Project description
The project focuses on developing and piloting a nationally uniform and comprehensive service package for the qualification of nurses. This service package is specifically aimed at nurses who have obtained their degrees outside the EU/EEA and require a license to practice in Finland. The project involves close collaboration with welfare areas, public and private social and healthcare employers, as well as key organizations and stakeholders.
Goals
- Pilot and Implementation of the Service Package: To create and test a uniform service model for the qualification of nurses.
- Qualification of Participants: To qualify 5 nurses during the pilot phase.
- Strengthening Collaboration: To collaborate with various universities of applied sciences and social and healthcare actors nationwide.
- Work-life Cooperation: To support linguistic and cultural competence in the workplace and promote ethically sustainable recruitment and work-life practices.
Results
The result of the project is the creation of a nationally uniform and comprehensive service package for the qualification of nurses. This service will assist nurses who have obtained their degrees outside the EU/EEA in obtaining a license to practice in Finland, facilitating their integration into the Finnish labor market and addressing the workforce needs of the social and healthcare sector.
