Project description
The project will develop and implement a multidisciplinary training package to strengthen industrial skills and innovation in sustainable development. The training will promote the employability of graduates and the skills of those in employment. At the end of the training, participants will have skills in sustainable development and circular economy, carbon neutral society and ecological product development, as well as in the development of life-cycle services.
The project aims to build up VAMK’s carbon-neutral skills into a 25-credit training package and offer it nationwide to strengthen the skills of employees in companies and unemployed job seekers in different sectors. The training will be delivered in a multi-disciplinary format, allowing for study alongside work or job search.
Results
The project will modernise industry for sustainable development. The project will address the skills needs related to sustainable development, climate change challenges and the carbon neutral society, and aims to strengthen industry’s capacity to recover from the bust in the new green wave. The project will result in a carbon-neutral industry training programme, including courses and training materials for distance learning. The training will be delivered both through distance learning via Campus Online and face-to-face at Vaasa University of Applied Sciences.
