Practical skills and theory from real care work
During the training, you will acquire a strong theoretical basis and practical skills in nursing practice classes and various nursing situations in simulations that correspond to real situations in nursing. You will also have the opportunity to test your skills in several placements in real working life.

Studying in a modern learning environment in Alere
You can train in the Alere, a learning environment shared by VAMK and Novia students, which has comfortable facilities including an operating room and training classes for e.g. maternity nursing, paediatric nursing and emergency care. Alere is also home to a new teaching clinic, NoVa, where students can work with real clients with a low threshold.
