Ville Isoherranen appointed as acting President, CEO

Ville Isoherranen, Vice President, and Director of the School of Technology has been appointed as acting President and CEO of Vaasa University of Applied Sciences.

The Board of Vaasa University of Applied Sciences has appointed Vice President Ville Isoherranen (D.Sc. Tech) as acting President and CEO, effective from December 13, 2023.

Isoherranen was nominated as Vice President on December 12, 2023.

“I am pleased that the newly appointed Vice President, Ville Isoherranen, has committed to taking on the responsibilities of both the President and the CEO. Under his leadership, the development of VAMK will continue seamlessly and successfully”, says Christina Knookala, VAMK’s Chairman of the Board.

“I want to thank the Board for their trust. We will continue our determined development in line with our strategy, working together with our executive team and competent staff”, says Isoherranen.
