VAMK construction of energy facilities course excursion to EPV vaskiluodon power facility
Construction of Energy Facilities for VAMK energy technology students’ course excursion was organized to EPV’s Vaskiluoto power plant.
Vaskiluoto power plant produces clean energy and district heating for the Vaasa region, EPV produces 5% of Finland’s total electricity production and invests 1 000 million euros in renewable energy throughout Finland. They aim to be a fully carbon neutral electricity producer by 2030. The host of the visit was EPV’s development manager Simon Björkman.
