Sustainability day at campus on 26.3.2025

A Sustainability Day takes place at Palosaari campus on March 26th. The day offers all sorts of interesting information for students regarding responsible consumption in the everyday life.

The campus area is filled with various organisations on Sustainability Day on March 26th from 10 am until 1 pm. In the fair students can familiarise themselves with ways that help make their everyday life more ecological and responsible. Following organisations showcase their expertise in Serveri, Alere and Technobothnia as well as in university’s Tervahovi: SOL Palvelut, Lindström, Vaasan kaupunki, Stormossen, Compass Group, Juvenes and Velimark. There is, among other things, information on waste sorting, free compostable waste bags, student overalls badges, and information about Vaasa’s Mini-Lifti car-sharing vehicles.

Stormossen organises a seminar about the challenges and solutions to sorting waste at 12:30-14:15 in the Auditorium B1022. The seminar is in English.
