Innovation Projects with Demola
Demola is a place for university students to take part in innovation projects and create new concepts for future needs. This spring (2025), the projects cover a range of topics, including sustainable online shopping, autonomous cars, smart audio experience, drones, and branding, among others.
Interdisciplinary teams are made up of students who share a genuine interest in the project topic—and the teams own the results of their work. The 2-month process focuses on concrete innovation work, utilizing tools from service design, foresight, and demo building. Students’ creativity, curiosity, and hands-on approach also develop with the help of Demola’s experts who assist and mentor the teams throughout the process. The working language in our program is English.

- Kick-off (two days): March 6–7, 2025
- Mid-event: March 18, 2025
- Finals in Vaasa: April 24, 2025
