Business Opportunities for Companies Offered by Finland’s NATO Membership

Finland’s accession to NATO in April 2023 has opened up new opportunities for companies in the defence industry, dual-use technology and international markets. For Finnish companies to take advantage of these opportunities, they need cooperation, networks and the right support. At this event, we will look at how companies can develop their skills, find new partners and strengthen their position in the markets opened up by NATO membership.

The event will focus on support services in the Nordic region and at national level, as well as on the ecosystems available to businesses. Experts will also share their views on new business opportunities, access to NATO markets and the defence technology start-up ecosystem. Participants will also have the opportunity to give their views in a mapping exercise to identify the sectors, products and services that companies want to commercialise in the defence industry and dual-use, as well as the support services they need.
